Nestle Indonesia, PT (Bali)

In the interior project for PT Nestle Indonesia (Bali), the designer intentionally selected different materials to give each area its own unique identity and character. Rather than using a uniform approach throughout the space, the design thoughtfully applies specific materials based on the purpose and atmosphere of each zone. This method not only enhances the visual appeal but also strengthens the functionality and flow of the workspace.

For instance, in the meeting room, the use of carpet with various patterns and colors creates a warm yet professional environment. The textures help absorb sound, improving acoustics and allowing for more focused discussions. At the same time, the visual variation adds interest without distracting from the room’s main function as a place for collaboration and decision-making.

In contrast, the pantry area takes on a more cohesive and striking appearance through the use of wood materials on both the floor and ceiling. This continuity in material application makes the space feel inviting and grounded, while also drawing attention due to its warm tones and natural texture. The wooden elements provide a relaxed, café-like ambiance—ideal for employees to unwind, enjoy meals, or engage in informal conversations.

This thoughtful differentiation in material selection across areas reflects the identity and values of PT Nestle Indonesia (Bali). It aligns with the brand’s emphasis on quality, sustainability, and employee well-being. Each design decision is rooted in creating a workspace that not only looks visually appealing but also supports productivity, comfort, and collaboration.

By assigning distinct material elements to each area, the interior becomes more than just a place to work—it evolves into a space that feels purposeful, branded, and human-centered.
